Welcome To Nerdaku
Hello, my name is Ronnie, and I am the founder and sole author here at Nerdaku.com. Let me start out by telling you a little about myself and then we will get into what this blog is going to cover and what the value will be for you.
I grew up on a farm (quaint right?), I attended a 4 year college and have used the degree for nothing since graduation. I have been an avid gamer and devoted techie for most of my life, and in the last 5 years I have taken a keen interest in modern health and finance. I am currently 26 years old putting me square in the middle of the “Millenial” or lost generation. So, with some basic background info about me, let’s talk about what this website is going to be.
- A Resource
First and foremost this website is going to be a resource. I will take some deep dives into E-Sports, Health and Fitness, Finance, and new or upcoming tech. I plan to do this through a variety of posts that will range from ranting opinions on my recent purchases to in depth technical analysis and reviews. I will try my best to provide unbiased opinions about each thing I talk about, but I will admit some part of me really dislikes Apple products (full disclosure). As with anything consistency is key and I plan to upload 4 posts each week, on Mon ,Weds ,Friday, and Saturday.
While I am no Daniel Tosh by any means I intend to keep everything on here somewhat entertaining. I remember listening to professors drone for 40 minutes about economics and will never subject my readers to such drudgery. Instead most posts will come with some sort of comic relief (I hope) even if the topics would be considered dry. I plan to add a video section later in which I will add tutorials and hands on reviews, since sarcasm can get lost in text sometimes.
Using my background knowledge and experience I hope to provide you, my readers, with some insight into the burgeoning worlds popping up all around us. I am not an expert in everything, and I won’t pretend to be. However, I do believe I can provide some valuable insights that otherwise might get lost in the shuffle. In other words I plan to separate the marketing BS from reality and help you make better more informed decisions.
With all of that said, welcome to Nerdaku, and one undoubtedly bumpy ride.
